thank you ladies for your kind acceptance of my radical change in appearance. My instructions to the hairdresser were "cut it so I can shower, towel dry, run gel through what's left on my head, bend over, blow it dry -- and be done." No instruments involved in the process since I embedded a round brush in my shoulder-length hair a few years back. No curling irons as I still have the burn mark on my forehead from the last time I used one.
Thankfully, my haircut revealed a whole lot of natural curl, which makes the whole thing work even better.
